Our Story

Candela Design began a couple of years ago as a home based interior business. As we grew and developed, Leonie came on board to manage the store while Chrissie continued with clients on the design side. We both have a love for all things interior and working together was a fantastic opportunity to be able to spend more time together as a family, especially while Chrissie's son is still young. 

We chose Gordonton as it is a little town close to our hearts, it was the place we always meet for a catch up and a coffee as it was between both our homes. The small community feel is what we are all about and Gordonton is becoming quite the destination place with it's cafe's and other boutique stores opening up.
